What this tool does and doesn't do

It does simple arithmetic on the number you type: hours per day times 365. It doesn't know your real usage, judge it, or store anything. For your real numbers, check Settings → Screen Time on your iPhone.

Want the number to go down?

Doomreps locks the apps you pick and lets you earn scroll time back with push-ups and squats at home, or steps and workouts when you're out. Read how to stop doomscrolling or how much screen time is too much.

Questions

How is the number calculated?

Hours per day × 365, divided by 24 for full days, or by 16 for waking days (assuming 8 hours of sleep). Years ahead multiply that by the years you enter.

Is my data saved or sent anywhere?

No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is stored or sent.

Where do I find my real screen time?

On iPhone: Settings → Screen Time → See All App & Website Activity. Use the daily average for the apps you scroll.

What counts as too much?

There's no single number. What matters is whether it crowds out sleep, people and things you care about. See our guide on how much screen time is too much.
